SCAM: Part 2 - Make-up Artist..Shoot
The inclusion of model information is an attempt to legitimize the scam as a makeup artist job.
A legitimate agency with legitimate jobs will not ask you to pay anyone let alone in cash. These types of scams operate in the manner that they send you a check for more than what the agreed amount is. You cash the check. They ask for a refund for the overpayment. You send it with your bank checks for your personal account. Later you receive notification from the bank that the check from the alleged agency was bad (closed or phony account, fraudulent, etc.). At that point, your checking account is deducted the amount you refunded to the alleged agency as well as the bad check fee. Additionally, the check you sent to the agency has your bank account and routing numbers as well as your address, phone number, drivers license number, signature, and any other information you have. Scammers can replicate the checks fraudulently and practice tracing your signature to make it appear as if you really did author the check.
Scammers request the below information:

If you are being hired as a makeup artist or photographer, agencies will not aak for your age or sex. They will nit hire you without meeting and/or interviewing you, because they do not want to put their models in danger. They must maintain their reputations along with their models safety. They do not need your full name or residential address. You should be licensed in your city and/or county to provide these services. You may have a separate mailing address and registered company name. Agencies will accept that for purposes of I-9s and other tax records.
By releasing the aforementioned information, you are making it easy for scammers to steal your identity, stalk you, or even go to your home posing as a repair person to be let in your hoke for their surveillance. Once they inventory your possessions, they can burglarize your home!
Be smart, and be safe. For crime reports, contact local law enforcement. Orange and Seminole counties have web links wherein you can enter your address to find out which law enforcement agency covers your area.

A legitimate agency will have agency license numbers, which are verifiable through licensing boards and divisions of corporations. Most likely the grammar of such solicitations is better, although not by much.
Their follow up email will also be posted for viewers to notice red flags.
If you are in the greater Orlando area, ignore these scammer emails! Never release your confidential information to those who are phishing. It leads to identity theft and fraud and compromises your safety, security, privacy, and confidentiality. If you have fallen victim to these and like scams, file a police report immediately! Keep original emails in tact along with any other documentation you may have. Provide these to the local or county law enforcement electronic and/or financial crimes unit. Some local agencies, such as those in Seminole county may defer to county law enforcement. They may also suggest you contact your financial institutions to report the incident in an effort to seek recovery of the stolen funds. Banks will required copies of the police reports.

Morphine addiction, a challenge of delinquency (tags: urban decay, morphine, Orlando makeup artist, delinquency, smokey eyes, purple)
Substitute my gloom with purpleness. A different kind of smokey eye. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Shadow Pencil may be waterproof, but it was not creaseproof. Although no sweating was involved, the shadow pencil was no match for the 92 degree weather in Orlando. These pencils should not require Primer Potion, and once initially applied, it was difficult to blend after 30 seconds. Application of another pencil somewhat erased the previous line.
Creasing started to occur after a few hours. However, the colors are vibrant and fun! Want to feel like a bad a-s? Try these colors: Barracuda was lined closest to the top lashes with a slight cat eye effect towards the outer corners. Mercury was lined above it out to the cat eye point. Delinquency was lined above that to the crease and slightly above. Morphine was lined yet above that, out to both corners with emphasis on the inner quarter of top lid. Ransom was lined on lower water line. Zero was lined under lower lash line. Ransom was lightly layered over inner corners of lower lash line to blend with Zero. Zero was also used on the top lid to create emphasis.
If you do not have the shadow pencils, you can substitute Perversion for Barracuda, Gunmetal for Mercury, and Grifter for Morphine. Any of Urban Decay's deep purples will work to replace Delinquency depending on desires effect. A touch of Quickie blush (powder version) on cheek bones, and Naked lipstick completed the look. The cream blush version of Quickie is not quite the same as far as color shade, tone, and cute, cotton candy pinkness. That is disappointing.

Eyebrows - taming of the shrew
Walking around the mall, at schools, or even downtown Wall Street Plaza, a noted Orlando trend is unkept eyebrows. That is correct. Orlandoans are trending unkept, untamed, ungroomed eyebrows. If the price of professional waxing is not friendly with purse strings, a free alternative is tweezing.
Tweezing requires daily maintenance to combat strays that sprout overnight. Missing one day can lead to unmanagable brows. How many people consciously think, "I want to look like Bert fromSesame Street." Brows are not as scary or difficult to maintain as one may think. If you need assistance shaping them, follow the below tips.
- Hold a straight line from the base of your nose to the corner of your eye. You can use a pencil, straw, scotch tape, or anything that can give you a straight edge. Whatever falls on the outside of the pencil should be removed.
- Hold a straight line on the outside of the nose, vertically up towards the forehead. Anything between both brows, above the nose, that falls within the vertical lines of both sides should be removed.
- Stick with the natural brow line! Otherwise, you may be stuck with strange, unintended facial expressions.
- If you pluck a little too much, you can fill the area with brow pencils. It is best to try a few colors to see which works best with your skin tone. For example, although you may have black brows, it may be better for you to use a dark brown brow pencil. Mac Cosmetics(located at the Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia, and in some major department stores) carries a brow gel that looks like mascara. This product is amazing! They also have a brow wax which is used to smooth down the brows.

The votes were split. Both Mint to Be and Coquette are soft, romantic colors from Lime Crime's Pop Culture collection. Their lipsticks are very highly pigmented, so be careful with application. One important thing to remember when using lipsticks from their new formula is that their lipsticks work best on unprepped lips - no lip conditioner or primer. Lime Crime Pop Culture part 1
A poll was taken on FaceBook and Twitter as to which lipstick best suits the makeup look for Orlando fashion trends. One purpose of this column is to inspire creativity away from beauty and bridal makeup in Orlando. Artists' work is drab and mundane, and hardly anyone actually is capable of fashion or couture inspired looks.
