Face:
MAC Prolongwear NC42 mixed with MAC Microionized Airbrush Formula in Purple. NC42 is a little too yellow. Purple is the opposite of yellow, so it was used to balance the color. Mixing both formulas strengthened Prolongwear by adding properties of the Microionized color. The foundation did not move! The only setback to using MAC airbrush is the white reflection cast by light. Juan Pantoja teaches that MAC is a product formulated for studio use. Light should be at least four feet away. Contact Juan at the MAC Pro Shop at Mall at Millenia to schedule personal consultations. His rates are affordable and definitely worth the money no matter what skill level you are.
Eyes:
Sugarpill Goldilux and Asylum
Asylum was the base color over Lime Crime Candy Eyed Eye Shadow Helper. Goldilux was used to create a crackle effect and as liner on the top lid. It was also used in the crease. To assist with control of the loose powder product, MAC Eyeliner Mixing Medium was used.
Full review of Sugarpill Makeup to follow. I am very impressed with how vivid the colors are. These two colors were only three quarters full compared to an almost overflowing Royal Sugar. The color payoff is amazing.

The second time I used Gold Antique, it was over a Sally Hansen base coat and an OPI polish. It applied much better, and the effect looks nice.
Companies such as Mary Kay market their products as mineral makeup, but their mineral eyeshadows contain a lot of non minerals and silicone derivatives. Products such as these are not purely "mineral makeup," and advertising is misleading.
As a former independent beauty consultant, I learned that many people who sell Mary Kay and Avon are not artists and have no idea how to apply makeup. Makeup is an art. Independent beauty consultants for like lines attend trainings and workshops on product knowledge. There are basic application techniques, but only real professionals can show one how to maximize product use.
Pure minerals need additives for ease of product use. Many mineral products are faint and do not show well in photos. MAC Cosmetics Mineralize has decent coverage and color. The Orlando Makeup Junkie is recognized by http://www.AfterglowCosmetics.com but has not had an opportunity to review the products.
When searching for the right "mineral" makeup, consider why exactly you prefer mineral makeup.

NYC Jumbo Lip Pencil is great for people on the go - a lot of color in a little stick. throw these in your bag, and they take less space than tuned lipstick. It is a good product for a minimalist.

See how bold and sassy this Lip Tar is? A tiny half bead covered all of both lips with leftovers. The color went on smoothly and had a glossy glow that contributed to the fullness of the lips. The face was prepped with typical eye cream and moisturizer. OCC Foundation in Y3 was sprayed very lightly. The OCC site says only six to eight drops are needed, but it took twenty to fully cover my face. I find that even Dinair, Temptu Pro, and MAC also require 15-20 drops. Amount of drops also depend on how much space there is to cover, how much coverage is needed, and desired effect. If darker colors are used, less product may be needed. OCC was best applied on the lowest setting of my Dinair Mini Compressor. OCC is very thin, so it requires minimal low air pressure. It feels like a cool mist just as Dinair does. Three drops of Hush gave a healthy, sun flushed glow against tan skin. Bronze was used to contour the cheeks. Hush was also sprayed on both top eyelids. It was then set with a light, sparkling pink Urban Decay eyeshadow. Mushroom was used with a pencil brush in the crease. Perversion powder shadow lined the top lids. More photos to follow. Today I completed some of my tasks. Had the lines not been long, the rest of my list would have been finished as well. After a long day of avoiding studying, I decided to have some fun. While I was not feeling "blue" (sad) I was feeling blue (feeling in the mood for the color blue). What better way to get in touch with my inner blue than some Duke Ellington and blue lipstick? Dancing around in my home, rummaging through my makeup room, I decides to compare my new MAC Blue Lip Mix to my new OCC RX Lip Tar. The results?
First, I primed my not so weathered lips with Blistex lip balm (not the medicated one - the one similar to old fashioned Chapstick). I used a light coating to soften the lips. Using too much can make lip colors streak. Next, I lined my lips with MAC's Naked Liner Lip Pencil. I used two separate lip brushes - one for each product. Lip Mix on the upper lip, Lip Tar on the lower lip. Lip Mix applied somewhat streaky and required more brushing to smooth out the product and cover entire top lip. Small amounts were used, which may have been equivalent to three beads of Lip Tar. Blue Lip Mix is a little thicker in consistency than RX Lip Tar. The Lip Tar was applied to the lower lip using two beads. It applied smoothly and more evenly. After drinking good, old fashioned, thirst quenching H2O all night, both products still appear to be hold their own. Fabulous! Stay tuned for a specially created look centered around bright blue lips. Sent from my iPod. Excuse abbreviations, brevity, typos, and tone inferred.-->
