Cheap makeup artist in Orlando

The Orlando Makeup Junkie us offering a limited time special offer. For simple makeup artistry, the artist will charge $25 for a 30 minute makeover session subject to applicable limitations, restrictions, conditions, and exclusions. Makeovers must be done in Winter Springs. Clients must bring their own supplies (see Model Makeup Bag http://www.examiner.com/makeup-in-orlando/model-makeup-bag-1). Artist will supplement clients' products with her own.

Appointments must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance with non refundable deposits. Group rates are not available as normal rates are $100.00 per hour and up. The special offer does not include consultations (I.e. product knowledge and discussion), airbrush makeup, or photos. If you are interested in scheduling, please provide project specifics. This offer is open to models and non models of any age or ethnicity. This offer is perfect for special events such as parties, date nights, or just for a change. "You get what you pay for." Cheap is not the best. Good makeup is definitely not cheap. Higher quality, higher performance brands are used by professional artists. "Affordable," or "over the counter" brands may offer pretty colors, but they typically do not survive the weather, set lights, or sweat.

Artists invest heavily in their kits, because they know the products withstand many conditions. Check portfolio samples prior to booking an artist. Look for things such as use of PhotoShop. Good artists do not "need" to digitize or graphically enhance their works. If colors look washed out, the artist is not using high performance brands. If they are using high performance brands, and makeup still looks washed out, the artist does not have adequate product knowledge to use the products properly.

Look for variation in the works. If the models or makeup all look nearly the same, the artist may lack creativity or experience. A good artist can work with a variety of face shapes, ages, and ethnicities.

If you are booking an artist, you clearly want to create memorable moments. Meet the artist to make sure s/he shares your vision. Picking colors ahead of time is also helpful.

Dinair airbrush makeup test

Dinair is definitely light than MAC, which may be due to it being water rather than silicone based. It sprayed much easier, but the gun kept clogging quickly. The gun will have to be taken apart completely for cleaning.

Only half the face was sprayed. The difference was slow and took seven drops. Coverage was sheer. The product can be layered for opaque coverage. A full review will be conducted once the gun is inspected and the correct foundation color is obtained. One thing that is an adjustment is the single action as opposed to dual action gun.

Exploring Dinair products further is going to be a fun adventure.

Important Session / Shoot Information

The OMJ has a unique style. Faces are blank canvases to her, and each face is unique. Her concepts are planned specifically for each individual. If you are working with the OMJ for the first time, below are some things to consider. As a young model in the New York / Philadelphia areas, models used to have to take all of their clothes to shoots. Stylists picked through the clothes as makeup artists and hair stylists begin working on the models. At the end of the day, models are too tired to put all of their clothes back when they return home. The OMJ has specific ideas for each person that include some of her specialties. Models must photograph what they intend to bring to the shoot and email the wardrobe photos. The clothes can be on the ground or hangers. This gives the OMJ more insight as to what will be shot and eliminates valuable set time being wasted on selecting outfits. This also minimizes what the OMJ has to bring in her makeup kit, which is two suitcases! Models who do not email wardrobe photos prior to the scheduled shoot are not given location specifics. Wardrobe must coordinate with location to bring life to the concepts. If the session is for a look book or special project, the initial shoot is only a test shoot to see how well models perform in front of the camera. Models are expected to cover their own expenses on items that the OMJ cannot reuse. Models have wear and tear on clothes and their appearance. Clothes last longer than makeup. When makeup is used, it is depleted as a resource. Therefore, models are responsible for their own false eyelashes and accessories such as flowers. If models do not have their own false eyelashes, flowers, or other hair accessories, they must remember versatility is only what they display. If they do their own hair and makeup on each shoot, they will look the same and not have variation in their photos. Accessories, hair pins, props, etc. can be reused by the models to add flavor to their shoots. Always call the morning of the shoot before you leave to get to the shoot. This is important for several reasons: (1) it shows you are not a flake; (2) if the weather changes, you and the OMJ will be prepared; (3) if an event is taking place at the original location, the shoot may move. 407-505-0665 (OMJ)
